Don’t give up!
Sounds simple, but easier said than done.
I had the privilege of listening to one of the poster boys of the Indian start up space recently at the PHD house, New Delhi.
Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the founder of Paytm!
His journey wasn’t easy.
But, he made it.
The host asked him on how he was able to prepare himself mentally for the challenges.
Vijay gave the example of rafting.
Do you really enjoy when you’re passing through the still waters?
Do you know what gets the adrenaline flowing?
Its the sight of the rapids.
You get yourself together and are ready to face it with all your might.
You know you need to hold yourself tight for a while.
Ultimately, this too shall pass.
What if we could face the challenges in our life with the same spirit?
Vijay’s talk was not to inspire people to become a big entrepreneur. It was about being a winner in life!
