A true leader

Do you remember Rancho in 3 idiots?

I met my Rancho in 1993.

Sanjiv Malik was my engineering batchmate, in fact the same branch as well (Electronics & Comm)

He came from a very modest background, having done his schooling in Hindi medium from a small town in Haryana – Jind.

While the majority of students studied to secure good marks and a job, his only purpose to study was to acquire practical knowledge which he could use later in life, which he did.

He was recruited as an electronics design engineer by a leading Indian company. This was one of the highest paying jobs on campus.

He worked with reputed companies in India and abroad over the next 15 years.

It was during 2012 that he found a new purpose for his life.

He started focussing his energy for the upliftment of fellow humans through healing practice.

He did fantastically well over the next few years with a followership in millions extending to all corners of the world.

He had another calling in 2021.

He started an NGO with a purpose to empower women and promote the Indian culture among students.

As months rolled by, his vision got bigger.

He bought a big piece of land outside Greater Faridabad to primarily build an old age home to accommodate 300 people (the site will also have a meditation hall and a small temple).

The construction of the old age home is going to begin soon and it’s going to cost a few crores.

It takes guts and a pure soul to dream and execute a project of this scale, selflessly.

Sanjiv, you’re awesome!
