Be On The Go- The Mantra to Success

be on the go

Be On The Go

Why should you meet successful people?

There’s something to be learnt from them!

I have known him for many years now.

A couple of years senior to me, he is a very distinguished celebrity and an author, a multifaceted personality and a fantastic human being.

I am talking about Mr
Vivek Atray.

He served as an IAS officer until he took premature retirement a few years back.

He is now based out of Panchkula. He is not yet in the retirement mode (just in case you thought so post the IAS stint!).

This is what he does:

-runs an IAS coaching academy
-delivers tens of keynote talks every year travelling to all parts of the country
-mentors quite a few college students
-runs a vibrant networking forum in Chandigarh
-organises a prestigious cricket tournament each year
-an active volunteer at the Yoganand spiritual centre
-and a few other initiatives

The man is on a mission.
He loves to be on the go!

I met him last week at the PCA cricket stadium Mohali where the JP Atray cricket tournament was being held.

I enjoyed watching a few overs, sitting besides him at this absolutely lovely cricket ground.

I happened to ask him – “Vivek boss, how do you manage so many things simultaneously?”

His eyes lit up with his trademark soft smile beaming across his face.

He said “Vikas, it’s all in the mind..”
