It was my hobby
It then became a Passion
I now call it a Passionate hobby!
I spoke to one of friends yesterday who works with a software firm.
He was fond of gardening since a long time, which was like a hobby for him. He then invested in a farm land which was about an hour drive from the place he stayed in. He started visiting his prized possession every month.
Initially it was the charm of visiting his farmland. As he started growing some crops, he started enjoying the ambience and the frequency of his visits increased. He realized it was slowly turning into a passion.
Over a few months, he made a few friends in the village and found himself at peace in the village setting, away from the maddening crowd.
He is now very happy. He still works with the software company and believes his Passionate hobby helps him unwind and relax over the weekends. This way he’s able to perform much better in his job as well.
He feels everyone should have something to look forward to besides the routine work.
