I am a Good Person!
I am a Good Person!
Are we always supposed to be joyful?
This is what I thought until I watched the movie Inside Out 2.
My teenager nieces were in Gurgaon for a holiday and they happened to have this on their wish list.
I was skeptical about watching an animated story of a 13 year old girl Riley but they simply forced me into buying everyone’s tickets!!
I was more excited about watching a Pixar production than the actual story.
One night before hitting the theatre we as a family sat down to watch Inside Out 1 on OTT which was released 9 years back.
The way the role of emotions impact our life was beautifully demonstrated.
Inside Out 1 highlighted the pivotal role of sadness.
This got me interested.
We were off for the show the next day. Thankfully there were quite a few middle aged people like me 🙂
This movie was all about the uncontrolled emotions that teenagers go through during adolescence.
The dominant emotion highlighted in Inside Out 2 was anxiety and how it takes a toll on the teenagers (well it does for every age group!).
I also got a sneak preview on what my teenagers may be going through once in a while as they turn into rebellious souls.
I enjoyed Riley’s story.
Well, we go through the 3 emotions of joy, sadness and anxiety almost every single day.
We as humans may not be able to control their occurrence, but the way we move on in our life is a result of our beliefs.
I am a good person,
